Rich Ehisen is the managing editor and publisher of the State Net Capitol Journal, an online news publication that covers state-level public policy trends across the 50 states. SNCJ is the editorial arm of State Net, A LexisNexis Company, which has offices in Washington D.C. and state capitals around the country. In that role, he has written extensively on issues like immigration, health care reform, education, pension reform, and many others. Over the last two decades, Ehisen has also published hundreds of freelance articles in a wide spectrum of local, regional and national publications, including California Journal, Comstock’s, Government Technology, Sunset, Sacramento and others. Ehisen holds a Master of Arts degree in Public and Political Communication from California State University, Sacramento. He is the immediate past president of the Sacramento Press Club and recently wrote, produced and directed his first short film, “Child’s Play.”
