I’m a bit late in getting the news out there, but the Open Mic has transitioned from a written interview blog to the Open Mic: Writers in Their Own Words YouTube channel and podcast, available on all the major podcast platforms. But the heart and purpose of the show remains the same as the blog – the showcase the work and styles of a wide range of great authors! So whether you are an aspiring writer yourself or just an interested reader, the Open Mic has something for you. For this week, check out my recent interview with author Jennifer Sander about her new book, Churchill: A Drinking Life: Champagne, Cognac, and Cocktails. And while you’re there, check out my other conversations with authors like Craig Johnson, Jim L’Etoile, R.F. James, Tori Eldridge, Peter Abrahams and many, many more.
